Currently, there are few books on differential equations specifically written for engineers. Introductory courses in the subject are oriented to mathematicians or physicists, with little mathematical preparation. The main goal of this text is to provide a tool for engineers who need to know the basic concepts of differential equations and their applications, with no prior knowledge of mathematics beyond high school algebra.
